Recycled water to be returned to Murray

With rain scarce and the drought still gripping much of inland New South Wales, the State Government has made the unusual move of allowing a paper mill to dump recycled water into the Murray River.

NSW Environment Minister Phil Koperberg says the company may be permitted to discharge low level saline water into the river as compensation for zero water allocations.
