President Sympathises With Flood Victims

The chiefs and people of the Wasipe Traditional Area are asking the government not to renege on its promises to the people to provide them with development projects and to alleviate the plight of flood victims in the area.

They mentioned in particular the need for the government to take a critical look at the road network as well as the constructionn of bridges in the West Gonja District of the Northern Region, since the White and Black Volta rivers ran through most communities there.
