Finally, a positive move on Walker water

At long last....something positive out of a meeting over the Walker River Basin water project.

The good news is: the board of directors of the Walker River Irrigation District, on Friday unanimously voted to "move forward" with its own draft legislation as a proactive move to try to settle the disputes over the Walker River's water use to send more liquid gold downstream to Walker Lake while protecting upstream water users at the same time.
