The World’s Most Endangered Dolphin May Have a Chance

Baiji The most endangered cetacean in the world, the Baiji, or Yangtze River Dolphin, has been sighted for the first time since last year’s scientific expedition, during which no single Baiji was found. It was widely feared that the dolphin species had become completely extinct. The Baiji is a freshwater dolphin whose only habitat is the Yangtze River in China.
