Bhubaneswar: As intermittent rains continued in most parts of Orissa, five districts of the State - Balasore, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur and Bhadrak - are facing flood threat as the region was expected to experience heavy rainfall during the next 24 hours.
Heavy to very heavy fall was likely at a few places over Subarnarekha, Budhabalanga, and at isolated places over Baitarani and Lower Brahmani under the influence of an upper air cyclonic circulation over Gangetic West Bengal.
