Floods claim one life in Andhra Pradesh, low pressure likely

Hyderabad, Aug 7 : One person was killed in rain-related incidents in Srikakulam District of Andhra Pradesh as Nagavali and Vamsadhara rivers were in spate following heavy rains in the catchment areas in neighbouring Orissa.

Threat of more floods loomed large with the Indian Meteorology Department predicting more rains in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh as a low pressure area is likely to form over north Bay of Bengal around August nine.
